Maple syrup Vertmont
Maple syrup is a natural sweet product with a thick, viscous consistency obtained by evaporating the sap of maple trees grown in North America. No artificial components are used in its production, and the syrup's color can range from light golden to rich amber depending on the tree species and harvest season.
Maple syrup is valued not only for its exquisite sweetness but also for its unique composition: it contains 54 natural antioxidants and valuable minerals, especially manganese and zinc. The antioxidants in this product are similar to those found in tomatoes, berries, red wine, whole wheat and flax seeds. Just one quarter cup of maple syrup contains more calcium than the same amount of milk.
An important advantage of maple syrup over other sweeteners is that it contains extremely low amounts of oxalates and purines, making it rarely cause food allergies. Maple syrup has antibacterial, antidiabetic, anticancer properties, as well as beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system.
